LimeDroid
I've wanted to build some sort of an android mech robot thingie for a while now and I finally found the time to do so. and it's got lime colour accents!
About this creation
This is in it's core a study of piece usage. The main NPU part is the head, where I used the car parts. The android has a laser-rifle for a hand and a trans-orange powercore on his body.

The details:

Left side. First time I did a hand with minifig arms. I think it looks okay. Also, his posture is pretty laid back, none of that chest-out hero stuff, here we have a bot that stands like it has no spine :P

Left. The rifle with an aim device.

The rear. Extra gear could be attached to the grey mounts between his shoulder mounts.

the head and top body. The head is probably the best small scale piece I ever made, I don't even remember how the wheelarch design came to mind.

Mid body and hands. There isn't really a frame I build around, it's all interwoven and incorporated into itself.
Also, because I don't have any of the new fancy Chima joints, the hips are really weird, they are segmented in two. But I wanted a sleek design and this is the best I could manage.

Legs. I have the "thin on top and thick on bottom" design stuck in my head and as impractical as seems it looks cool as hell.

Action shots!
Shooting something, but not really caring much.

Down the barrel
"Wat'cha lookin' at, punk?"

"nothing? I thought so."

Holding Eris the travelling spaceman.

With his technic figure friends, Mike (fabulous!!) and Michael (facepalming). Apparently, the droid is also capable of compassion for a friend put in shame by his idiot colleague.

"I'm evil? no, that guy is evil."

LimeDroid's evil alter ego, CrimsonBot. It's just reskinned with dark red.

Firing his laser MG

and being attacked by tiny, powerless yet incredibly persistant and consequently annoying minifigs. Kinda cute.

I hope you found this interesting, feel free to like and comment!

Awesome detailing and great use of Trans Neon Orange and Lime. You'd think they wouldn't go great together but they do!

I really was surprised to see this on your page, it s out of your usual zone, the car fenders s design is very neat, I like the red one better, and that last pic is hilarious!

Wow, this is a great droid! I always liked droids with personality, I have a few myself although lack the parts to make them. Nice work on the head, I also really like the gun on both good and bad ones. Nice work.

Quoting Nick Barrett Impressive build, and the best bit is you managed to give it character.
Thanks! If there was a robot version of me this would be it (no guns tho ;)
Quoting Cheryl P You did an excellent job on the construction of LimeDroid. When you have him turned sideways, he looks like he is slouching. Must be chilling. I like the use of the minifigs with your droid. Very playable. I thought it was cute having the little red guy kicking the big red guy.
Thanks! The last picture really is amusing.

Awesome droid! I like the use of the fenders on the head and arm. I also see you used them on the legs. The minifig arms for fingers look cool. NPU excellence!
