I present the spaceship: Bubble ship, from the science fiction movie: OBLIVION.This creation is the result of collaborative work between Carpediem,Matthew Street (for the realization under real Lego bricks with great modifications, photos: 6 to 10) and me. This project has not been published and has been banned from Lego Cuusoo for some unknown reason! May be that they wanted to produce it as well? This spaceship has multiple functions: - The cockpit "bubble" can be opened on both sides. - The cockpit is articulated by a ball joint which gives it the ability to rotate in all three directions. - On the cockpit are located two twin cannons that can rotate on their bases to 360 degrees. - In the cabin are fixed two engines which can rotate independently. - The legs are hinged at two points, can be folded along the cabin during the flight. - At the rear of the fuselage, is the Access-ramp opens onto a container of weapons and tools. - Finally, the rotor rotates correctly on itself! The film is described as “an original and groundbreaking cinematic event,” and Tom Cruise stars as one of the last remaining drone repairman stationed on a future Earth. He works as part of a mission to extract vital resources from the ground following a decades-long war with a threat known as the Scavs, which lead to humans moving civilization to the skies thousands of feet above. When Cruise’s character rescues a beautiful stranger (Andrea Riseborough) from a downed spacecraft, events are set in motion that force him to “question everything he knows and puts the fate of humanity in his hands.”

Quoting Rick Livernois Super! Lego should make those curved pieces in the center of the cockpit clear just so you can make this perfectly. Seeing this made me so happy, and then further seeing how well its made made me even happier. I may have to build one of these for myself!
What a nice comment, a great thank you, sure you can built it, i've post the .lxf (LDD file) on this page ;o)My dream would be to see it everywhere and sorry for Lego, it's to late ...

Quoting Michael Rutherford Great build from a decent flick! I really like the fact that you show us both a digital and a plastic build. It's a challenging design with a very fragile esthetic, but you pretty much nail it with this MOC. Well done. Attack!
