I watched Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (both parts) and I really liked Batman's voice... A bit of IMBD and turns out it's Robocop! Then I remembered I never watched that movie so I did now and you see what that led to.
About this creation
The figure is sturdy and can be handled and played with without fear of pieces falling off. It's 29 studs tall so that makes it approximately 1:8 scale. It's quite posable thanks to 7 ball joints, 2 click-joints, 5 rotation joints and 14 small joints. Easily stands on one leg too.
So let's see what Robocop can do...
Squats... Or no.2.
In need of no.1. Someone messed up his circuits...
Enough with the silly stuff, let's see his sidearm!
"Your move, creep!"
"Auto 9" with 50 rounds and 3-round burst mode
Dimensions are so that it would fit into his thigh were it not for the skeleton but it's also not too small for the large hands he's got.
He had to have a bit larger hands because the movie ones look too small compared to his bulky body and in LEGO form it looked really bad and it seemed like I did something wrong. Just check out the blueprints to see what I mean. Tiny hands...
"You may not like what you're going to see."
Not that pretty without the helmet, is he?
Anyone remember this scene? It's from Robocop 2.
And since we're doing sequels...
...how about that ridiculous gun arm with automatic gun, flamethrower and a missile launcher from Robocop 3??
That's what it's like when he sends them to kingdom come.
And like that wasn't enough they had to give him a jetpack too... Seriously, if you haven't already, DON'T watch Robocop 3. Just don't.
Fits like a glove.
Snaps onto Robocop's back just like it does in the movie.
As much as I dislike all the Robocop 3 crap I must admit building the jetpack was actually the most fun part of this build.
So let's fire it up!
Yes, the flames are blue!
It also breaks nearby glass...
I never thought of Robocop as a super hero but what if...
...he wore a cape?
How about a dark vampire lord?
Casting his evil spells... Wait! How did that get there?!
And here are two more shots of the display base I built for him.
One more of all the accessories and that's it!
Forgot to add the WIP stuff (Robocop on life support machines, Robocop 2 and ED-209 - I gave all these up).
One more for goodbye...
(You may remember this photo by Tyler (legohaulic). ;))
UPDATE Oct 10th 2014:
Knud Arnell Albrechtsen bought the model.
...aaand he made building instructions! They're available for free download on his site.

Wonderful design! Are you taking part in the 100 Piece Brick Built Figure Contest?
At first I wasn't sure. I wanted to enter with something I have in the works but then I saw your Lucky Luke and it's spot-on so I don't think my figure stands a chance (I had to reduce the part count so some details got lost).
Well, that is just great. The build is fantastic, but the fact that you added all the little entertaining easter eggs makes this entry. I really enjoyed the tribute to E-mote. Picked that out immediately. The scenery you added to the MOC adds some appeal to the main build, and all the accessories. Maybe just a shot of Robocop with some graffiti on his armor. No...that would just cheapen the whole thing, in much the same way that Robocop 2 did;) Nice work!

someone mentioned at my newest creation that it should fight robocop, you should check it out since it's at the same scale as this amazing creation of yours.
Hehe, I think Robocop would have no problem winning that fight since the droid is only 2/3 of Robocop's height. :P
From what I see, you live in the neighbourhood so we may arrange a photo of the pair if you come to Croatia on one of Kockice's exhibitions. ;)
Wow nice! The details are amazing for the scale at which you built him, I think the head and feet are especially nice. As far as the movies go: the joy ends with the first sequel, much like Hangover :P oh and someone mentioned at my newest creation that it should fight robocop, you should check it out since it's at the same scale as this amazing creation of yours.
Sweetness, pure Sweetness, the Original Robocop was awesome, #2 not bad, #3 waste of time. The New one is not so bad, thou they messed with the story to much.
Alright! One of my favorite movie/comics characters. Great work and also nice presentation full of interesting details. Love the way you did the part without the helmet on. It would be great if you could've displayed the opening of a gun holster but concerning the gun firing looks real enough. You can also make a bubble that says DEAD OR ALIVE, YOU'RE COMING WITH ME or THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION! :D
