Captain Redbeard Blindeye
ARRRRR you ready for story? Let me tell you a story of me old bones
About this creation

"Once upon a time, a young captain set out to find the treasure of the ancient masks. 7 weeks after his journey begun, he was betrayed. But alas, he fought well and hard, and he emerged victorious. At a price, he lost both of his eyes and his right leg. In the moment of madness he cannibalised the corpse of his first mate, and set out to sail the seas. Being blind as he was, though, he was sailing in circles. That, my friends, is the story of Captain Redbeard Blindeye."

After two years it is finally finished.

If you want to read a 1450 words long journal about the thoughts and reason it took me two years to complete this MOC check the journal on DeviantArt here

Credit for the hat and peg leg goes to Elzy here.

I just noticed that this MOC is the 500th in the BIONICLE Museum group. It would have been the 1000th in the BIONICLE and Hero Factory group as well, had I not snagged that spot first. :P

Quoting Clever Crowe Great details and shapecrafting, Dylan. As always. =) Cheers!~
Thanks :D
Quoting Mohamed Marei I believe you and I both have Elzy to thank. I've made a WIP of a pirate head using inspiration from that head design as well. Here;. Now, onto your MOC. I've seen it in the works for quite some time and I've been wondering when you'd get around to posting it. I really like the coat. I'm assuming it's made with sail pieces? Also, great use of Laval's head! Overall, wonderful MOC.
Especially Elzy, he was the first to use it. That head is so detailed. It even has an eye patch, that's just great :D Yeah the sails are from Queen Anne's Revenge.
Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist The time spent on this shows, phenomenal build. Every shape and detail is perfectly convincing, right down to the flintlock.
Glad somebody noticed the flintlock :)
Quoting Mr. Cab This is the most detailed figurine out of Lego I have ever seen. Easily. I have no idea how you did it, but this guy is just awesomeness! You said in the making of journal that it wouldn't come far in cuusoo, but I say you should give it a shot, because this is far better than most other projects I have seen on there...
If I want to give it a shot I still have some work to do because I want show off multiple examples on what could be made. This pirate is just one of them.
Quoting Lego Obsessionist It took me forever to recognize Laval's head, BRILLIANT! Fantastic build otherwise, too!
Thanks :D
