wasn't really planning a "vehicle" Voltron at current but you never know!
Quoting Daniel Calleri That is fantastic! A great build Chris. When will 'lion Voltron' meet 'vehicle Voltron' (our names for them as kids…)?

glad I could bring back a little 80s nostalgia!
Quoting Kayne _ Wow, this is amazing! Voltron was my entire life when I was about 7 or 8, I was crushed when Sven died and Allura took over the Blue Lion. This brings back all that pain and heartache all over again. In a good way though!

Not one whit less awesome than I expected, Chris. Checked out the YT vid for it, too; and as I commented there - amazing job retaining so much articulation. That's quite a feat in itself. This gave me a very nice 80's contact buzz, and a huge smile to see finished. Cheers for all you do, M8! =)

some sacrifices had to be made for playability.
Quoting M<0><0>DSWIM ! OH YEAH! Awesome work, as I expected, Chris! I love how solid and durable this guy is and how accurate you made him. I think the wings are a bit short, though. I know in the toy version I have, the wings actually fold out an additional length and there are white highlights in between the red. I know you were trying to make the sword light, but the Bionicle parts look off. Maybe try a plate/tile built one instead? Just some minor things. All-in-all, this is amazing and impressive work!

Yes!! 80's rule! Just what I was hoping for here in the last post of the series, a perfect rendition! I actually made a Technic based Voltron back in the 80s, but it just wasn't the same. Congrats, Dude!

Glad I could bring back the 80s!
Quoting matt rowntRee Go Voltron Force! And the 80s are officially back. I have to admit that this one hurt. I remember watching this as a teenager and loving it then; however, I was able to see an episode a few years back that made me question what I was thinking back then. Tastes change but the lions were actually pretty cool. You really captured the character of all five and the combo here. Impressive that this comes together without + or - parts. Truly masterful work Chris. Thank you for churning those rusty gears of nostalgia in the brain. Exceptional!

I don't typically build with bionicle bits but it was necessary to keep the sword much lighter than a brick built one.
Quoting clayton Marchetti There it is! Awesome! Excellent work Chris. I love the crest on his chest. Cool sword. Fantastic work!
