About this creation
The next part in my LOM story. Enjoy!

Richard sat alone in his room; the faint and muffled voices echoing through the door.

A knock sounded on the wooden portal,

"You may enter, sir." Richard replied to the thud.

Boaz, the gatekeeper gimped through the door with a note in his hand. "This be for you, young sir," He grunted in his thick accent, "and also, ye might do the odor of thy room well if ye open your window."

"Thank you sir," Richard replied, "but I'm quite sure 'tis not my room you smell, but the foul odor of your cloak."

As the disgruntled gatekeeper stumped from his room, Richard looked at the note with interest.

Dear Richard,

Hasten to my lodging, you are needed.

Signed, Zed Appletree

Richard threw on his heavy cloak and prepared to exit his abode.

Quickly, the door creaked open and Richard departed.

As he neared Zed's door, he noted two soldiers standing at the doorways.

"What is thy need?" The irate soldier on the right imposed, "You head should be lying on the floor acting as a fountain of fool's blood, if ye do not state thy [CENSORED] business!"
"With all due respect," Richard replied, showing the soldier the previously received note, "I come on an urgent task to speak with the one who resides behind that door."
"I see," The nasty soldier replied with a smirk, "enter, and get thyself out of my sight."

After entering the room, Richard was greeted by Commander Oswald and Zed Appletree.

"Thou hast arrived," Zed spoke, "and in no small amount of time! But here now, let us get to our business.

"I am ready to serve thy any need," Richard replied, "for Nerogue."

Zed, who was a professor in Tomue, unveiled a map of the Lands.
"We're being sent on a journey to Worsan to attempt to discover any movement of the Black Lotus. You will act as my servant as we arrive at the seaport as if I am a merchant."

"The path will be drawn upon this map." The commander stated boringly as the professor sat down with pen in hand.

After a moment of mumblings from the two men and brief dips into the jar of ink, the path had been inscribed on the map.

"You will set off at dawn," the officer commanded after spitting in the trash container.

What did you think? I tried to improve my writing, and the MOCs were small scenes built in about a day. Not a lot of energy expended in building this, but the final result was satisfactory.

Quoting Noel Peterson Nice build! Do the medieval-looking doors actually open?
Thanks. :) No, they do not. I wish they could, but I haven't worked with them that much.

Wow, that's a very nice build. I like how you incorporated old and new parts in your minifigures. I also think you did a good job on the classic writing style, sounded like Treasure Island (The only real classic I've read)
