"my Own" Transformers Prime Soundwave
My take on Soundwave as seen in Transformers Prime
About this creation

I had forgotten that I had been invited to the soundwave shockwave design comp as I have had other projects I was trying to finish off first. But last week the first entry went up and I thought, hey I had better get my skates on.

This uses a very simple variation on my new micro build frame, but with a couple of twists to get a taller robot mode. The vehicle mode, like the animated version, is a drone fighter. I have set this in my "my own" sub-caregory mostly because I don't feel the end result looks enough like the tv version, but at this scale that was always going to be a tough one.

Normally I would have gone G1 but I just fancied trying something different, and since Ultra Magnus was mostly tf:p inspired what the heck.

The rear section is a bit of a fudge, and I am not convinced I couldn't have hidden the fingers better, but generally I am ok with the end result.

If the rules permit I may give the design one more pass to iron out some minor issues I have with the vehicle form.

Preview of next project and LDD settings to help Bumblebee5253.

Let me know if that helps.

A good vehicle mode, but the robot mode is lacking. The legs/feet look a little weird.

Quoting Bumblebee 5253 Hey again, I tried it: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/386818 . And the pictures seem kind of blurry, and they have no outline. I'm not sure what's going on here.... Are you using the New or Old Uploader?
What options are you selecting in LDD? I'll post a screen grab of how my preferences are set, it will be easier than trying to explain.

Quoting andros tempest I've no control over the background colour, when I take pictures using the CTRL K option in LDD it doesn't give them a background. That is added later by the MOCpages uploader. The new uploader adds white and the old uploader adds black.
Ah, okay. Thank you so much for the help! :D

Quoting andros tempest I have the hi resolution options ticked in the settings. If your graphics card is powerful enough you should be able to do the same. I can only do this on my new laptop, my old one had the options blanked out, so basic low res images only when I use that machine.
You're talking on the LDD GUI? How do you get the background white? Lately I've been trying to improve my creations' presentation...

Quoting Bumblebee 5253 How do you achieve such nice LDD renderings?
