So seeing Peter Blackert's (lego911) Flickr page, I decided I could also make a Monza! This is the Opel Concept version of it. Made for LUGnuts' 78th build challenge: Places, Everyone. Hope you like it.
Side profile, low 'n' long. Like I'd like it.
Had to think a while for the C-pillars. But hey, I like them.
Front view, with open doors.
Interior view. I think this is my best simple interior to date :)
@Senator Chinchilla: Thanks! The taillights were not easy to think of, but I like the outcome of it. @Sam: medium, I think. Your entries were nice, credits where credits due. Thanks! @Starscream, Dennis, Alex, Chris: Just thanks. For taking the time to comment. I appreaciate! @Sven: Thanks my friend. I love the original concept too. @Yann, Harry: Thanks! The doors also took some time to figure out. :) @Alexander: wow, thanks for the big compliment! Appreaciated, thanks! @SM: Thanks man. I wasn't very happy with the shape in the first place, but looking back at it, I like it. :) @Alex: Me too! A great looking car. @Nick: Thanks, as always, for taking the time to comment. Thanks Nick! @David: That was one of the later (but ofcourse, since the real model has it, standard) additions, but I'm glad you like it!
Hey Loek! That's quite an incredible MOC. I can eve imagine building this in large scale - medium? Your insane man! But this is fantastic. As SC pointed out, those tail lights are fabulous, and the doors are also very nice. Sadly, the best I can manage for this building challenge is my 4-wide Daytona and a 31006 alternative (naming it "*Something* Pebble Beach"). Great work!
