"Star Wars: Sith Marauder Darth Fury"
About this creation
"An Ancient Evil Returns" Part II
(8 ABY) Darth Spectra has awoken after thousands of years. Having left behind the long forgotten Sith space station where she slept, Spectra begins to explore the Outer Rim Territories with her faithful droids, her human thrall, his salvage ship and its new cargo of undead Sith troopers. Upon hearing that Dathomir is home to a clan of Sith witches known as the Night Sisters, Spectra sets a course for the planet, hoping to find some much needed allies.
Unbeknownst to Lady Spectra General Grievous and the Empire's droid army had just left Dathomir, but not before decimating the Night Sisters, leaving none alive. Or so he believed. When Spectra reaches out with the dark side of the force she finds only a small handful of force sensitive scattered across the planet. The disheartened Sith Witch decides to focus on the strongest, and strangest, reading. This brings her to an abandoned outpost where she finds a Dathomirian Zabrak and a Rancor under his command. Spectra's beautiful face cracks a sinister grin, for she has found her new apprentice.
The Zabrak speaks little, but over time Lady Spectra learns the fate of the Night Sisters and the identity of those behind it. Having already received some training from the Night Sisters the Zabrak learns his lessons quickly, and with the help of Darth Spectra he taps into his darkest anger which unleashes the full power of the dark side. This makes him incredibly strong and capable of a berserker's rage in battle. The Zabrak never shares his name with Lady Spectra, and she never asks. It is of no importance, for when he kneels and pledges himself to his new master the man he was dies and when rises to his master's side he is now and forever Darth Fury the Sith Marauder!

Darth Spectra and her new apprentice prepare for their first lesson. While training the Zabrak is forced to keep his rancor under heel at all times.

The first lesson begins and the crackle of force lightning and the hum of light sabres fill the air.

As their battle rages on Darth Spectra forces her apprentice to levitate a nearby skeleton as well.

Behind the trees and a rocky spire Spectra's assassin droid watches with deadly intent.

The Zabrak learns his lessons well and with brute strength overpowers his teacher.

However even after disarming her he finds out that his master is far from beaten. With a powerful force push the Zabrak is sent reeling backwards. Meanwhile... the assassin droid attacks his prey with all of the finesse of a psychopathic ax murderer.

While there is still much to learn the Zabrak has passed his first series of tests and has earned the title "Darth Fury"!

The right and left sides of the MOC.

Darth Fury. The latest and deadliest addition to the forces of Darth Spectra.

Quoting Joehead14 _ Great build and story. I would only recommend some additional movement in the various pictures when you have the chance to increase the changes to an image from shot to shot. Popsing the Rancor differently (you could also add humor in with him) would have made each subsequent picture a bit more dynamic. Great build!
Thank you for your constructive criticism Joe head. I completely agree with your comments. Up until these Star Wars posts I have been presenting the MOCs with a story as opposed to joining them into a single narrative, or an "episode" format. As such I am learning through a lot of trial and error concerning what works and what doesn't. And while it's been awhile, I am going to continue with this series and I hope to get better at it with time and practice.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Somehow I missed this one, but very cool scene and story. The random stuff going on with the skeleton was quite fun, and I like the overall design of the place. Nice work!
Thanks Luke. Yeah, as always I try to maintain a balance between building with precision engineered materials, and playing with toys.

Quoting clayton Marchetti I thought id check in. So what's Spectra been up to. I hope your still doing this storyline. I really enjoyed it. It's really fantastic.
Hi Clayton. I'm definitely going to continue this. My process takes time. It involves a lot self doubt and rebuilding. When you put that together with my other interests and life in general something has to give. I do intend on increasing my productivity and perhaps your taking an interest is the push I needed to make it happen. Thanks.

It's not too bad having all bad guys, most people have all good guys! While I prefer "the good guy wins" type scenarios, having someone to fight is really the important thing.

Quoting Scott Bertaut Nice, you are so good at making interesting characters. One question though, are you going to make some good guy characters to offset all these evil guys?
Thanks Scott. I really appreciate the compliment. I have been working on a good guy and a few companions as well. They will probably appear in part three. I am also working on a Dr. Monster project that will be much brighter and friendlier than my other posts.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Outstanding! Excellent episode! Now that Darth Spectra has an apprentice and her power grows. It will be interesting when the emperor feels her presence. What then? .... Awesome work Doc! Cool build can't wait for the next episode.
Thanks Clayton. Given her unique circumstances Spectra may well prove to be a thorn in everyone's side.

Quoting Murdoch 17 Great work! That rancor must be a great aid in battle... unless you have a large metal door handy! Keep it up, I'm very curious to see what's next.
Thank you Murdoch. I have a couple of other things I want to work on right now, but I'll come back to the theme. I'm having a lot of fun learning about the Star Wars extended universe.
