A brick-built Minotaur that ended up being my biggest build so far :D
About this creation
Originally uilt for my local LEGO community challenge, this minotaur's my first giant brick-built creature. The challenge required us to build any kind of animal or plant, real or fictional, and after seeing a couple of horns, a lot of joints and brackets lying around, I ended up building this.
An alternate pose. The minotaur can be posed in various ways.
There are several articulations on the legs, arms, head and torso. This allows the minotaur to be moved and posed. It can also stand without any support, although this requires some careful balancing for it to stand.
Beast form - transformation from the minotaur to a real bull.
With a couple of tweaks and rotations of the minotaur, the entire build can 'transform' into a real bull. This is done without the need of detaching any bricks or adding any extra ones.
So...this is it! Any constructive criticism will truly be appreciated :)
I plan on rounding out the shoulders and legs so that it wouldn't look so flat, and also add a weapon for him to hold.
I'm going to give it a shot and put this up as an entry for the Beautiful Lego: Dark competition in the "Dark Mythos" category :)
