A camera lens? Are you kidding me?!? That, sir, qualifies as genius. Oh, but no. You had to go and make a fanny pack out of the octagon, too. And if that weren’t enough, oxygen tanks for shoes! I must applaud that one. Insanely clever. And then you go and build a full o’ life character to boot! Seeing this guy hunting for the best picture of an Albers Squirrel down the road from my house would be 100% expected. I am impressed with the cleverness of your part usage in regards to the five Mystery Pieces. I think you have done what was the trickiest thing to do with them: Make them disappear seamlessly. I had to look for every one of them as none of them stood out. Exemplary!
I thought you were bringing Calvin to the contest when I first saw it, then I thought at first he was a skater. After seeing what your intentions were...of course he's a hiker. Don't know why I didn't see that at the start. Nice touch with the sloped platform. Really great work on an original character. Best of luck in the contest.
Nice one Adam, I think yours has the most character out of the early entries, and great use of the mystery pieces. Not sure about the footwear, they look more like roller skates than shoes but it all works.
