Approaching the Kingdom
So I cancelled my series. But I don't want these builds to go to waste. ;)
About this creation
The AntiOps clan has stumbled upon the Olmec Kingdom. And things are going to get rough. . . .

I guess this sort of counts as an FP build. But what I really love about it is the step pyramid. Those plates with the teeth are defintely perfect for the 'stairs' up the side. I think the foliage fits in nicely, too. More to come!

Quoting Nathan Pownell Okay, if you don't mind then- I almost think that the slanted foliage stuff on the left side of the MOC is kind of straight… Perhaps that couldn't have been prevented due to the size of your creation. However, the other foliage looks really cool, especially with the pyramid. Well anyway, nice MOC!! :)
Yeah, I tried my best to make it curve, but guess it didn't work out. Thanks so much! :D

Quoting Nathan Pownell Those stairs are quite ingenious! Love the pyramid. You executed the forced perspective very well, and the figures are an awesome touch. I might make one constructive criticism comment, if you don't mind...
Yeah, thanks! Looking forward to that, hopefully. ;P

Quoting Thomas of Tortuga Really nice work on the stairs! Do you possibly have a less bright photo? I can't make out the construction on the top of the pyramid :)
Well, sorry, no. I don't have a less bright photo. :P But I think I can explain it . . . sort of. The top was particularly frustrating. I couldn't make it completely covered because of the stair pieces that had to be put down. So in the middle, I put some 1x1 plates and added a 1x2 tile, connected at the center, so it protrudes a little past the squares that line the top. And next I placed 1x1 tiles by the 1x2 tile, so they protrude the other way. Not exactly perfect, but it had to do. :P Thanks, though!

Quoting Lindel Baskin Great microscale! I love those stairs, brilliant NPU. Took me a minute to realize what those were. Foliage looks great, nice use of the leaf pieces. Fantastic work!
Yeah, thought it might be a little confusing. But thanks!
