McLaren M23 (1976)
The famous F1 car driven by James Hunt.
About this creation
Not the most complicated build, but then it didn't need to be. I think someone else built something similar a while back, but I can't quite remember who it was.

I tried some photos with a yellow background, but I don't think they came out quite as well.

Thanks for viewing!

A neat little car. I wasn't sure about the part on the front: I thought two 2x1 cheeses would look better until I did a Google search. It was fascinating to read about why this car was so important.

I absoloutley love this classic F1 racer, it has a great story behind its sleak looking bodywork, when I was browsing through my favourite builders pages, I stumbled upon this and instantly recognised it as the M23, wonderful choice of car to build, and it's turned out great my friend! Well done :D

Very good indeed. Just shows how something doesn't need to be massively detailed to be instantly recognisable.

This is one of those "simple is better" situations where the creation just doesn't need to be big and complex to be good. Clever parts usage and clean shaping make can winners out of even the smallest creations, and that's exactly what's happened here. This is much cooler than any of the 4-wides that LEGO ever produced!
