Although a great set I felt the original Shelob Attacks set was too minimalist, and so decided to give Shelob a (subtle) upgrade to make her more atomically correct and structurally robust.
About this creation

The main modifications include:
- moving her fangs to the front of her face and pointing down which matches both the face printing and the shape of sloped brick itself perfectly. The tan modified plate has been replaced with two 2x1 black plates with the handle on the end.

-adding two small articulated ‘arms’ where the old fangs were attached

- adding additional plates in her abdomen to add robustness to the design and also making the cheese slops ‘flow’ together properly.

- doubling up all of the plate hinges attaching her legs to increase strength

- removing the wheels

Sam has been upgraded with elven rope (from the climber figure from the minifigure series 11), and a backpack with a pot and pan which has storage inside for the rope, phial or One Ring.
