The Maserati 75th Birdcage provided the inspiration for this. While it doesn't particularly look like the Birdcage, it was not my intention (I dont have that many white bricks) and the Birdcage served only as a wild concept car to draw from.
About the model - it is made up entirely from the pieces in the Enzo set, apart from the grey fuel tank and a rubber exhaust system. As well as the fuel tank, there is a plumbed mid-engined V12 and an adjustable engine cover which has an air intake on it. All of the body panel peel away and are hinged as to better view the innards, including the front cockpit section.
The rear 3/4 view is my favourite angle, showing off the 'sculpted' bodywork. The exhaust is a 12-into-2-into-3 three system, makes little sense but sure looks cool. Additionally, the spoiler incorporates 'active aero' and can optimise its position based on air intake and downforce.
