Great work of Lego creationism! Excellent! It has been 2 months since your last comment. Should be getting more IMHO! Oh, something looks real fishy about this creation. Joe, you should have expected that old timer pun! LOL

These are all fabulous! My favorite is the Lionfish - great use of not connecting the plates all of the way.

That lionfish is wonderful, Joe. I also love the seahorse and the longfin. The work you've been putting out just in the last few months has definitely been your best. I had an art teacher in college who referred to an artist hitting a stride and putting out many high-quality, personal best works in a short period of time as, "catching fire." This was long, (don't really want to think about how long), before the book;) You, sir, have caught fire. I'm really enjoying seeing these latest installments, and I genuinely cannot wait to see the next.

Wonderful ! Looking at your pictures I thought I was back snorkeling in the waters of the Fidji Islands (I did some backpakking 20 years ago).

they all look great, but man oh man, the lionfish and the seahorse are amazing works of art! spectacular, now a little bit of clear posts and some black tiles and plates, a handful of beige 1x1 plates, and you could have a populated lego aquarium!

Fantastic! I had been thinking about doing something similar to this, but I don't think I could have done as nice a job. My personal favorite is the lionfish, but they are all spectacular.

Thanks so much guys. The Seahorse seems to be the most popular and is certainly one of my faves too. He stands on a 1x1 clip attached to a clear radar dish and can just about balance with careful placement. Inside the 2x2 round bricks is a 'spine' of 3mm flexi pipe (one of my favourite pieces). The 1x1 round plates (in-between the round bricks) force the bricks apart just enough to create the curve.

The curve on that sea horse is particularly good.

Thank you all for the great comments. I only had 3 days to build these little guys, 1 day for the lion fish and 2 days for the remainder. These are effectively prototypes and built in a way so others could replicate them. The larger more technical ones (plenty of snot work) were replicated by the Bright Bricks team and the smaller ones were used for public builds - quick fun builds for the general public to build and add to the display. Really pleased you like them. My favourites are the Regal Angelfish and the Seahorse. Not so keen on the Lionfish for some reason, I think if I had more time I would significantly improve him

The seahorse and the liojfish are the stars of the show, with the lionfish looking particularly awkward to pick up, even in his Lego form. The seahorse looks even cuter than the real thing in bright plastic bricks. More super sculptures.

Quoting Topsy Creatori Lovely fishes! Of course my favorites are the sea horse and lion fish. And I like the way you made the eyes on some on them. I'm assuming that is a tube placed thru the 1x1 brick with the hole? I do not have a facebook account so all I could view were a couple of shots of the 'aquarium'... very nice! :)
Thanks Topsy, the aquarium was a huge project that we all helped with. I made the fish and some of the internal structures for the coral and the rest of the team made the coral itself.

Quoting Cheryl P Excellent work on the fish. The Lion Fish and Sea Horse are my favorites. I checked out Bright Bricks on Face Book and "Liked" the page. One of the creations I enjoyed was the bees. I shared it for my friends to see. I commented that the bees are still in trouble thanks to Monsanto.
Thanks Cheryl. My boss Ed Diment designed the bees - they look awesome together :D.

Wow! I love the lion fish , even thought I have an extreme distrust of sea horses ever since I learned the males are the ones to give birth , it's fantastic! Great job on the rest of the fishes too. How about a starfish? Ha ha ha
