Quad Anti-Air Artillery AZP-1028
The newest Anti-Air Artillery used by the Eurusian military.
About this creation
AZP-1028 Quad Anti-Air

The AZP-1028 is a towed quad anti-air gun used throughout Eurusia to defend bases and other military installations from enemy air threats.

This is the newest addition to Eurusiaís low-altitude air defense, and is designed to quickly dispose of low flying enemy aircraft and helicopters. Its four 35mm cannons firing at 200 rounds per minute (50 round bursts per gun) can tear through enemy aircraft like they were made of Mega Blocks. Using trucks or ATUVís the gun can easily be moved from one position to another.

With a radar-directed infrared sight, the AZP-1028 is far more accurate than itís predecessors, and can deliver accurate fire in almost any kind of weather.

It proved very effective during the Russian/Sitirian incident, where these guns claimed numerous air kills, including low flying Mig-89s and numerous helicopters.

Specification for AZP-1028:

  • Weight: 4750 kg (10 471 lb)

  • Crew: 2

  • Gun: 4x 30mm auto-cannon

  • Ammunition: 30mm high explosive rounds

  • Rate of fire: Combined maximum - 3500 rounds per minute. Reduced to 200 rounds to prevent overheating.

  • Range: 6 km (3,73 miles)

  • Status: In service

  • Four 30mm cannons is a serious threat to any aircraft flying at low altitude.

The AZP-1028 is operated by only two soldiers, gunner and loader.

The gun can be ready to move in only five to seven minutes.

The AZP-1028s are usually towed by Ural 4330 trucks or ATUVs.

An AZP-1028 and a 4330 on the move.
