G1 Transformer Swerve (mini figure scale / transformable)
Here is my 3rd minibot transformer creation in Lego ˇV G1 Swerve. This time I also took it apart few parts to show you how to build it.
About this creation

Swerve appeared on Earth as a member of the 4-Wheel-Drive Brigade. It has a very similar body structure as Transformer - Gear. http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Swerve_(G1)

One of my missions of this project is to manage the size of it into a small scale as a minibot. There are lots of details you can find on it. Some of the color bricks are rare. It would never stop me to use rare parts as long as it brings better result to my creation. Although it is in a small scale with a lot of joints within it, it is still pretty solid in both robot mode and vehicle mode.

The features in vehicle mode include the big radiator at the front, side rear mirrors, front bumper, external radio antenna on the left hand side of the cab, etc. It fits one mini figure in the cab with steering wheel inside.

More details at the back such as exhaust pipe with muffler, and rear bumper on the side of the back. As a 4WD, the ground clearance has to be maintained into certain level to create mobility.

The vehicle can be modified into military mode to launch missiles.

Start to transform!

The exhaust pipe will becomes a gun.

I used 3 joints instead of 1 single joint for the robotˇ¦s knee transformation, you can see the outcome when it transformed into a robot. The leg looks straight without the space being dragged out inside the lower leg, in compare with just a single joint.

The little parts turn out and become the robotˇ¦s heels. It helps to balance the robot body when do different poses.

Transformation done!

See the shape of the knee area. The leg is straight without the empty space inside.

Coming soon ˇV G1 Transformer Skids

Another preview photo ˇV G1 Transformer Smokescreen and Blue Streak.

Here are some more photos for building instruction. It should not be too hard to follow the way to build.

The robot left leg.

The pelvic.

The right arm.

Thank you for watching!
