666 Market Street
Modular house following the Café Corner modular standard. With a little surprise in the back.
About this creation

So I was making this modular building. It's based on a painting by Marc Holmes

But then Café Corner-ized

I wasn't sure what to do with the back, when I finished it at first, the back was pretty plain and boring, so I added a Bionicle head with tentacles to liven it up.

It also moves, see the Youtube video here.

It still has somewhat of an interior, though the groundfloor is now mostly taken up by a big Bionicle head and a motor/battery box to move it.

Thanks to my lovely wife Zummi for taking the pictures!

Great details on windows! Lovecraft would love this too. Combining red color with blue background is unusual but works great.

This is simply magnificent -- all of the little details and techniques, the coloring. Any thought of submitting it to Lego Ideas? ():-)

haha love the bionicle head... I saw other (smaller) bionicle pieces in there too... great use of those. This is a great representation of converting a real house to legos. Wow.

I certainly was surprised by the beast that should not be named lurking out the back probably having a crafty cigarette. Maybe I should have seen the clue in the title, 666, it all makes sense. Lovely build, I was enjoying the architecture to a point of engrossment, hence the shock at the anterior.

I don't know if I ever expected to see any form of bionicle piece, let alone multiple masks, to find there way into a high quality CCC building. It is a great MOC and thanks for the surprise!

Oh my, awesome doesn't do it justice, but then again; AWESOME! You very smoothly flipped those half-arches, excellent! The mix of colours works really well, and then there is that spooky spider thingy! did I mention awesome? Well it is, ten times over!
