It's a real shame that I never owned the real version of this toy, but I got close enough. You see, back when I was about seven years old (and still collecting transformers), I was getting the 'K-Zone' magazine every month. They're kinda out-of-fashion now, but back then they were a really big deal for me. They also often gave out little toys for free sometimes. However, I realise that they were all actually knockoffs. Still, this knockoff holds a special place in my heart. You see, they had this thing where you could build the Optimus Prime (or Convoy) from Transformers Cybertron (or Galaxy Force), the third and final installment of the Unicron Trilogy. The cool thing about this knockoff of the Legends class toy, however, was that you could put it together. Sure, it was orange, and the head didn't fold down, but it was still pretty cool knockoff. In fact, unlike most knockoffs, it's made from better plastic than the original. I've dropped a toaster on this thing (litrally, not figuritively), and it still doesn't break or fall apart. But that aside, I thought it'd be cool to make a replica of this figure. The transformation is a little off, at times to make it more like the original and at times to make it a better MOC, but it turned out fine. Enjoy it. :)

Okay! Back with the captions! So, to start off with, here's the vehicle mode.

As you can see, he's pretty damn accurate. The only difference in the vehicle mode is that the head flips down. The original toy did it, but the knockoff does not.

The proportions are almost completely accurate. The toy is a little shorter and the cab is bigger, though.

Okay, TRANSFORMATION TIME!

Step One: Twist out the arms.

Step Two: Flip up the head. (As I said, the original Hasbro version did this, but this toy does not. It's still a pretty good knockoff, though).

Steps 3-5 will require you to look at the side of the robot.

Step Three: Fold down the legs/fold up the body.

Step Four: Fold down the waist cover.

Step Five: Fold in the back section into the legs. (This part does differ from the toy. The MOC fold over the top, whereas the toy folds into the bottom.)

The remaining step will require you to stand the robot up.

Step Six: Fold down the arms.

And here you have the MOC and the toy in their robot modes!

A view from the side...

...and a view from the back.

I couldn't resist, so I made the super mode backback from the show.

It's really simple, but effective.

It easily fits on the robot, with the guns sliding in under the arms to make it look like he's holding and firing them.

And a quick look at the back...

If you had blu-tack, you could stick the backpack onto the toy.

The transformation isn't show-accurate, but what the heck. It works.

The guns fold up the back, but that's okay.

And, it easily slots into the vehicle mode on the back.

It gives it a sort of 'tanker truck' look, rather than a fire-truck look, but it can't be completely accurate and this small...

To finish off, here's a photo with it on the toy. Unlike the robot mode, it needs no blu-tack to stick onto it. It fits on nicely, unless you shake it...

I'm posting it soon. :)
Quoting Bumblebee 5253 Well, the transformation is really good, as it resembles nice with the toy, and the vehicle mode doesn't look too bad, but the robot mode..... Blegh..... Sorry, but it just looks weird for some reason, and there's not much pose-ability. I understand the toy doesn't have pose-ability either, but it'd be cool if this one did. Nice job overall!
I tried to make the posability exactly like the toy, so that's why there isn't much. And as for the weirdness of it, meh. Everyone's a critic. :)
