Category- "The Last Battle"
Build the Last Battle, from the Last book, for the Last round. Each MOC must be between 26x26 and 36x36. Give it everything you've got!

"And then the last battle of the last King of Narnia began."

"What made it hopeless, even apart from the numbers of the enemy, were the spears... And now the leveled spears were closing in on Tirian and his last friends. Next minute they were all fighting for their lives."
-C.S. Lewis

I built the scene from the book in which King Tirian, Jill, and the loyal Narnians make their last stand at the white rock.

This was an interesting MOC to build. It took two different rock designs to finally come to be the rock that is in the MOC. I hope you all enjoyed this MOC!

Quoting Kai Bernstein Your opponent's build has pretty much everything yours does but with the additions of a house(ish thing) and a tree. If the mocs were of the same caliber, he would get my vote. But the fact is...they're not. While Nathan's had more to it, I wasn't too fond of the building texturing and foliage style. His roof looked great but the moc's layout was a little awkward. Your entry, on the other hand, while containing little variety, had an awesome layout with fantastic foliage, and though the rockwork does have its flaws the seamless flowing of the panels makes up for it. Congratulations - you've got my vote!
Thank you for the vote!

Quoting Red Son Great job! As a judge, I love how it is flat and looks almost natural. I feel like the minifigs are just to clumped together, and should be a bit spread out. However, I feel like your opponents entry is cluttered with stuff. For that reason, you have my vote.
Thanks for the vote!

Quoting Nathan Pownell Ah, the moment I've been waiting for… Well done! It looks very good! Your rocks and figures probably beat mine, but I think you should've added more plants, and the ground needs more slope; seems kinda flat for being a hill. Good luck! May the best builder win! (By the way, the Minatour is fighting on the wrong side…)

Thanks for all the comments! As for some of the things that were said about the build and the feeling like Narnia I tried to stay true to the book in the fact that the main battle took place at the rock. I was trying to focus on the battle and the rock. There was not really anything else that I could have added because that was all there was in the scene from the book. The foliage could use some work but in nature tan dirt does exist and landscapes do have alternating patches of plants and dirt. I tried my best to fit as much as I could into the build due to the size limits without it looking cluttered and awkward.

I guess now is as good a time as any....OK to start, as everyone said your rock work is FLAWLESS. The paneling without large gaps is amazing! Just overall an excellent job with the rocks. Now moving on to other things, the tan ground doesn't, have a natural look to it. Maybe green with brown mixed in would look better. As far as Narnia goes, this doesn't seem to grasp that Narnia feel. I think this build needs something iconic from Narnia, to give it more of a Narnian feel. The rocks are great but, they're just rocks. Your minifigs are great, and the foliage is very well done. In the end, though both of your builds are stellar, your opponent won me over with his great stable and ground texture. So, he get's my vote. Good luck with the other judges!

Okay, time to judge. JP, you had fantastic rocks with great panels - they fit in flawlessly. Very good job on those. The foliage is nice, but if 'figs are removed, I think it would look a little plain. Interesting choice mixing foliage with dark tan. Your presentation was great and the action shots are nice. Clearly, the rocks are the standout portion of the MOC whereas the rest is not up to that standard. Nathan, your MOC definitely included more features in it - the stable is very nicely done. The rocks are nice and the foliage is good, though a little too simple. The inclusion of the tree is very nice as well. Your 'figs are excellent! The presentations of both are great, the foliage is all right, the rocks are great, and the 'figs are nice. Two very well - done entries. My vote goes to Nathan because he included more in his scene and kept the quality high and the details high, too. JP's creation was very good, but it didn't have enough to it. Kudos to both of you for fantastic showings.

Okay, this was close. I am now about to give you each a breakdown, and it will hopefully explain the reasons for my vote.
Quoting JP Creations
This is an excellent entry, and quite frankly against any other opponent it would have received my vote instantly. The rocks are top notch, the scene looks great without it being too messy, and I love the base! It's a clean build, with no flaws the make me go "eeew!" The tan base is not that appealing to me, it doesn't look right. And it isn't entirely canon, but that isn't much of a detractor since Nathan's wasn't either.
Quoting Nathan Pownell
Another solid, and darn near perfect, entry into this contest. There are some problems though. The house. It is very messy and cluttered, and I don't feel like the tan on the ground fits in. It looks unnatural to me. However, your use of bricks as heads in genius, and did I tell you I love squirrels? Anyway, the only real detractor is the photography. If it had been slightly less grainy I believe the beauty of this MOC might have shined out more.
Quoting The Results
You both put in a fabulous effort into this entire contest, and I must now give my vote. JP gets my vote here. Better luck with the other judges Nathan, and thank you for competing! To JP, thank you, for wowing me. You put a spectacular effort into this contest, and the best of luck to you! ~Zach
