FDNY Ambulance
And here is the brandnew FDNY ambulance. It's a 2013 Ford F-450 with a Wheeled Coach box. It replaces my old FDNY ambulance which i built some years ago. Some nice features of the new one: Reflective vinyl for the striping, custom painted rims (by myself),opening rear doors and a full interior. This is the first ambulance with chevrons on the inside of the rear doors. I tried my best on this one and i'm very pleased with the result. I hope you too. Thank you very much for watching, rating and commenting. Suggestion or tips are also very welcome. :) Greets, Sven
About this creation
Here you can see the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-dLABJ0I6U

The gap between the doors it a result of the thickness of the reflective vinyl i used on both doors inside. And i used only one hinge plate on every door.

The paramedics Carlos Nieto and Monte (Doc) Parker show you some details of their new ambulance. The stretcher is nearly the same like my first prototype. But it has no rails on the sides because with them it won't fit in the box. Btw, Third Watch fans know both paramedics ;)

Here some shots of the interior of the box with bench seat and drug cabinets.

An now the nightshots to show you all the reflective vinyl in action :) Pretty nice eh? I use ORALITE® reflective graphic film from Orafol. For US users: http://www.orafol.com/rs/americas

The first call with the new rig. Male with suspicion of heart attack. He was brought to the hospital and is in stable condition.

And a special pic of the old and the new one together. The old ambulance is out of service and will remain as spare parts source.

Thank you for stopping by my friends :)

Greets, Sven

Viele liebe Grüße an dich, Sven

Thank you so much my friend!! I'm very happy about that you like it so much. Yeah, i agree. Hope i get some money for new chrome parts. If i can order some, i'll replace the grey parts with some chrome ;) But no more use of chrome stickers. LOL! Yes, the figures are from the last winter season and i forgot replacing the woolen caps with some hair XD.

Thank you very much Tyler. Sorry i never give credit for ideas/suggestions when i have an existing model of it. The model is only built by my own ideas and techniques. Gredit will be given if i use someones LDD file, model or building techniques. Never had the case that someone is complaining about that i gave no credit for a suggestion what i could build next. I hope you understand that. Sorry again, but i'm a bit confused now.
