Forget your turbocharged Nissans, your 2jz's and your 13b's. A kei truck is easily the most JDM ride on the road.
About this creation
The front, with a small badge and a remarkably surprised expression.
"Oh crikey, it's some roadworks!"
The side, pocked with rust and suchlike. Still, it moves.
If I'm honest, it moves rather well. The front has buckets of steering lock and the back has leaf spring suspension. There's even a small 2 cylinder engine under the cab which is driven by a 1 speed + neutral gearbox.
That missing jumper plate is JDM rust, yo. None of that USDM junk.
The large rear bed is perfect for toting around hay, crates, or politicians.
The back, looking particular dapper from this angle.
A low-down angle, to scare of any local Priusesuszieses.
It's even got some texturing on the bedliner.
One final view of the exterior.
Dat money shot. Note the stuff.
Bobbly minifig, now with real fake bobbly action.
I'm going to leave you lot with a picture of the clichè 1980's interior, complete with it's rad neon green dials.
Nice truck! A change from your usual Japanese tuners.
I love the front end and its cutesy look, which has a similarity to the Subaru 360. The rear is cool, too, but where are the mechanical bits? You say that they are there, but I don't see 'em.
BTW, check out my new cars.
P.S.: Could you do an Initial D Trueno in 1:6th scale?
