Yay. A MOC. (Note the hint of NO enthusiasm in my typing.)
About this creation

I had received a letter from an old friend of mine, telling me to meet him at the "green stream." And I knew exactly where that was.

"You're here before me! That's something that doesn't usually happen." Mornak exclaimed. "What do you want?" I asked. "After all of this time, that's all you have to say for a greeting? Very well. I need you to help me with something. Trust me, it will bring a fair amount of gold."

"Let's go then."

I wasn't very happy with this MOC. Pretty disappointed, actually. Critique on what I did wrong, whatever. It'll be pointless, because I already know.

I just threw this together to get the five points for the challenge. ;)

I've also been in a builders block, haven't had any inspiration to build. Can't even hardly build when I do, as you can see in this MOC. Although the green waterfall was interesting at least.

You're right about the rockwork. However, the ground layering actually looks really good with the tiles and the pegs.

I like it, the green water, the baren foreground and almost lush background. Well done!

I actually like the more scarce studs on the ground. Have been contemplating such textures myself. Not like I have any plans to use it in near future.

The whole MOC is at least decent, if below your standards, but the ground layering style is my favorite part. I'm trying to work on including more tiles in ground texturing. Maybe not as many as you used here, but they really help to break up an otherwise overly studdy ground texture.

The rockworks pretty good, the same withe the landscaping. Why is the water green?

Cool waterfall and pond. The rockwork... eh. Yeah, very rushed. You should get back into building, cause you were pretty good.

First off, I hope you get over your block. Second, seeing as you see commenting on you MOC itself is pointless, I shall comment on our post. So... An improvement is needed on how you do your dialogue. It tends to get confusing when you have multiple speakers. For example: "You're here before me! That's something that doesn't usually happen." Mornak exclaimed. "What do you want?" I asked. "After all of this time, that's all you have to say for a greeting? Very well. I need you to help me with something. Trust me, it will bring a fair amount of gold." This should look more like this: "You're here before me! That's something that doesn't usually happen." Mornak exclaimed. -press enter- "What do you want?" I asked. -press enter- "After all of this time, that's all you have to say for a greeting? Very well. I need you to help me with something. Trust me, it will bring a fair amount of gold." Mornak said. This is assuming I am correctly reading the dialogue. What you have kinda works. However, the change would just help the readers out. Sorry I couldn't actually give you a look at what the correction would look like. Comment box doesn't like having spaces between sentences. Just something for you to chew on. This still a decent MOC btw.

Water fall looks rigid, I like the rock work and the dark green pool. landscape is decent, which like you said you threw it together so eh. Honest Opinion. Hope you get past builders block because we all know you can do better
