Supercar [Motorized]
Remote controlled sportscar. Scale around 1/17
About this creation

I'm on a quest to explore genres other than ship-building,
I want to see what my skills are worth in other fields.
A supercar in this scale was the first on on my list (followed by medieval castle and large spaceship).
The car is IR controlled, driven by an RC buggy motor and steering via a PF servo motor.

Hey Sebeus im back, i got a really importent messege for you, that you have to see before tomorrow evening, in the silent crew... And for the car, i love it, the motorized thing is just awesome.

Hi Sebeus, Excellent! Very original the way you realised the smooth curves. I enjoyed your demo at Brick Mania Helchteren. Regards,

Quoting Marin Stipkovic I don't think it's particularly pretty but the performance seems great!
Thank you, I've been trying to improve the looks but especially the front is a pain, very difficult to make a smooth hood without interfering with the steering mechanism.

You clearly have the car skills! The shape is superb, with some really neat angles and details, and the PF chassis is the icing on the cake.

Nicely done, Chief! I don't really mind the gaps. Makes it look more like body armor paneling. Wicked!

The final result looks very good for your first car. I personally find that there are a little too much gaps in the bodywork, but the shaping is excelent. I'm impressed how you managed to get all the PF stuff in there. Lovely work!

Exploring other realms besides pirates? Now this I'm excited for! Like some others have said the gaps on the hood are a bit distracting, but I know from experience it can be hard to do smooth shapes without gaps with Legos. Though overall you have it a great smooth shape. Aside from that, this looks really spectacular! Just as a car this would be great but the added motorized function makes this so much cooler! Nice skateboard by the way :p

very very nice brick work, normally those curves are done in technic, but you did them in bricks, 5/5

I can tell you had to put some time and effort into this, especially trying to figure out how to squeeze the electronics in.

Love its unique shape and styling. The RC function is great too. Lovely stuff, and it's great to see a ship builder try his hand at a car!

Awesome! The color and the sectioned appearance make it look like something out of Death Race. I'm impressed that you managed to get all of the RC functionality into such a compact package.

Thanks a lot, I added a pic of the undercarriage right under the video. The front was the hardest part about this car, the big wheels take a lot of space when steering and I was a bit fixed on using this particular headlight design. I also ran out of useful dark gray pieces. Nevertheless, I will definitely revisit this car later, when I have a better Idea about what I need and how I'll do it.

I respect all of the shapes and angles, but some black stripes in front andthe gaps are quite distracting. It is probably amazing in person, but here it looks like you could have done it better.

Nicely done! Some mental shapes, although, as Alex said, the front is a bit scoo-wiffy, I would go for a rounder shape, and angrier headlights. Great functions too! I'd love to see more!

Awesome, the rear and middle are amazing, but the front is very sectioned. Still, very nice, and pictures of the undercarriage are always welcome.
