Millennium Falcon
My Millennium Falcon, built to the Lego set scale, but BETTER!!
About this creation
This is my Millenium Falcon. This stared out life as the Official Lego set, and now the only stock item is the hideous cockpit. This is a hard build to make large scale, and hats off to the guys that have the stockpile of parts to build large scale. I don't thoygh, so this is my version, on the official Lego set scale, and will suffice until I can pony up the $500 required to purchase the Ultimate Collector Falcon, at which point I will NEVER purchase another lego, since it has some 6000 pieces. This will be rebuilt with a custom cockpit, eventually. This will be enlarged slightly, and further improvements made, soon, I promise!!

The gun turret, a mixture of UC set, and my own. I'll use gray antennas instead when I have them.

My proprtions are better than Lego's with the extended mandibles, and the slightly larger circumfrence of the main body.

Not the best shot, I was trying one of the concussion missile launchers between the mandibles. Notice the REAL passageway? Yay.

Side view. This is where it gets tricky. I'm going to study up on this view, and make the passageway smaller in height, and this clearly shows Lego's stupidity. They make this HUGE cockpit, that you can't put s*#@ in. Ridiculous, I didn't even bother, I'll build my own!!

Rear view. I HATE the engine strip. HATE it. When I finally have the several hundred transparent blue tiles, I'll rebuild the entire rear. But I don't have them yet. I make do, ok?

The underside, and the better gangplank. A liitle lighting inside illuminates the boarding ramp. If you noticed, I greebled up the docking ring. I'm not completely satisfied, but it is 1000x better than Lego's.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Here is where I screwed up. The game table and engineer station are BACKWARDS in location. Beautifully done, but backwards. I promise to fix this error.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket Misc engine room shot. Hard to get a camera in there. If only it were bigger...nope, still don't have that 500 bucks, I just checked.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket A decent solution to the passageway problem many a builder faces. but like every builder that thinks they solve it, they aren't satisfied. I'll come up with a better solution, mark my words!

Oh! Great . Although I do not know STAR WARS in detail, I think that this Falcon is very wonderful. Structure of the exterior is wonderful and its internal detail expression is also perfect. Great JOB. PS:Thank you for the review to me.

Very good modding on this one, especially the connection to the cockpit. I tried to mod my falcon but it ended up in a big pile of parts.
