CHECK OUT MY OTHER MOC'S

This is my version of a TIE Interceptor from the famed 181st - Baron Soontir Fel's squadron. I have wanted to do this for quite some time, but I waited until I could get just the right pieces together. The shops on Bricklink.com were critical to the process. A couple of things to note. I did a much different treatment on the rear of the cockpit than what I've seen on most MOC's, or even the official LEGO kits. I integrated the wing pylons into the cockpit construction to cut down on 'wing wobble'. And, I chose a fairly minimal set-up for the guns on the wing tips. Typically, you see the standard cannons there, but I thought it made it look too bulky, and I think the way I did them is very consistent with the 'real' Interceptors. Finally, it's small thing, but the MOC also balances nicely on it's own, without a stand (as you can see in the pictures).

Cool! Did you get the idea from the Star Wars Omnibus: Rogue Squadron Volume 3? If you did, it would be great with a Soontir Fel pilot.

Nice. I'm kinda mad that I found this though cause I'm gonna post my 181st Interceptor as soon as I get the Brickshelf thing to work (I'm new) and its gonna look like I copied off you. I was looking at other interceptors while I waited for the confirmation email and found this. Nice job anyways.

That color scheme definitely gives it a fierce look! I'm suprised LEGO didn't even make a Tie Interceptor.
