A Load of Toad
About this creation
Here is a model of my American toad Angus, named after AC/DC guitarist Angus Young.
American toads are common throughout Canada, America (Duh) and Mexico. They are capable of living in nearly every terrain type from desert to marsh.
The model took me a while to build, and involved the deconstruction of several ships to get all of the grey colors.
The toad's trademark white stripe is made out of dental floss. Heh.
Here is Angus sitting by the statue. He was terrified of the model, I guess he thought it was a bigger, cannibalistic toad. Anyways, it took about 5 minutes to get this shot because he kept hopping away in fright.
Another picture of my toad.
By the way, the review by "Mike Bernd" is not by me, some strange guy wrote it. I have better punctuation and grammer.

Excellent toad, however I think if Angus Young were a toad, he'd be a cane toad ;) |

Great toad made. They're quite a tricky animal to build from Lego, for sure. Love the pics with the real one! |

Realistic, and that is one of the most important features on a M.O.C. 5/5 |

Awsome toads (both of them! haha) Your lego one looks great though. I like his overall shape and your attention is drawn to the eyes so quickly too. Nice job. |

Wow... good MOC... Can'y say i approve of the floss though. I have to say that the last pic reminds me a bit of futurama's hypnotoad - heh :) |

As a Lego purist I can't quite approve of your use of dental floss, but what the heck... Cooler than a body on ice! Hotter than the rolling dice! The shot of the two toads together is pretty funny -- the real Angus does seem a bit suspicious of the model made in his honor. |

Well obviously angus thinks it realistic (if he was so scared of it XD). and if it's good enough for a toad, it's good enough for me :) |

Dawh, Angus is so cute, and thats a nice model you have there. Hmm, someday I will make a swamp, and there will be frogs like this that live there, only they will me minifig scale! I've inspired myself again. *Slaps forhead* |
