Get your men to the battlefield in the invincible Boar....
About this creation
LIU Boar - Armored Troop Transport
The Ludgonian Industrial Union stopped crunching enemies and started crunching some numbers. It turns out that over 13% of troop casualities across the universe occur during their transportation to the battlefield. With this market now exposed, the LIU brings out its answer, the Boar.

No, not bore like your parent's old stories... Boar like the wild pig with thick skin. Its a cousin of the warthog in the pig world, but don't even say its related to the Halo Warthog..that's just mean.

The Boar is protected by thick armor and shield generators. It gets around on six massive wheels. No terrain is too much, except for mountain cliffs. Straight up just doesn't work with vehicles. Go figure.

Note the Boar's two spotlights, its small turret, and the two shield generators, all packed on the roof.

Here's the Boar's rear. Hmm...that doesn't sound quite right. Anyway, Note the various mechanical things and brakelights. It would be a shame to be rear ended in mid-battle.

The rear of the Boar is actually a hatch to the inside. Here, it's shown closed.

The rear door opens, revealing the Boar's interior. The Boar carries eight lucky soldiers.

Here, its shown fully loaded: eight soldiers and two pilots. It can carry more, if you make your men get friendly and uncomfortable. The LIU prefers to send in its troops in small groups, so eight is just right.

Here's the mandatory computer shot. Its nothing fancy, unless you like computers.

Here's the troop compartment empty just for fun. WooHoo, that was a blast.
Note:

If you see this view, your about to be crushed by several tons of armor.

simple and efficient! no special touch here, the turret design was nice, the name is fit, the interior is where it could have been better! maybe an upgraded version in the future? great work! |

It's pretty good, but more details in the interior would be nice, but I LOVE the big sets you build like the Big Hospital for the LIU, that was AMAZAZING!!!! But it's pretty cool, I like it. |

I guess its pretty powerful. Make the turret bigger maybe. I have to admit it would be tough for our ground attack craft to destroy this behemoth |

You've really detailed the outside well, but the inside, I think, is lacking. while clean and nice looking, there's really not enough detailing. You've used a simple design and you've suceeded in creating what you want, but you might want to make things a bit more complex. Meh, a solid MOC and definately worth a 4.5. |

This is cool. The combo of thick armor and shield generators is perfect for this type of vehicle. Nice low to the ground build and nothing but tires sides. Oh, and the interior vents should allow drainage in case somebody is a little too nervous on their trip to the battle... nice touch. |

Wow great design, I like how you were able to fit all of those seats in the back. Man! three moc's in one day, your good. I haven't been able to post anything, I've been swamped with school work. However I've taken pics of two moc's and I'm almost finished my second imperial base. Again nice work on your boar, its a good solid design, the ORE would like to buy 50 Boars, we'll send transports to pick them up. |

That's awesome. Although it would be better if it could carry more troops like 10, but its still really good. |

Very nice APC-style creation. Maybe you could adjust so more troops could fit. Anyway, nice moc, the name is quite fitting. |
