CHECK OUT MY OTHER MOC'S

This is my version of the standard TIE fighter. At first glance, it doesn't look all that different than the official LEGO set (which is not a set that I've had). I wanted to do one that was more correct in color, and I wanted to add my own touches to it. A couple of things, other than the coloration, that I know are different than the official set. First, my version has a top opening hatch, instead of the glass flipping up from the front. Second, there is no "wing wobble". I have the Darth Vader TIE, and I've had the TIE bomber, and I know that the official TIE fighter had the same cruddy wing wobble as the other official TIE's. I did a partial fix on this on my TIE Interceptor, but this MOC has the 'total' fix for the wobbles - and I take a second to show how to retro fit any other TIE's to fix the wobble.

Parts assembled. The technic brick with axles fit into it needs to be incorporated into the cockpit construction (one of two wobble points). Second, the brace on the end of the axles plugs into the large wing brackets (which also take the pins from the axles - the second wobble point).
