When the cyrexian forces discovered the value of mechanical battlesuits they decided to create one that could be used in the military. The shadowspawn is created to take on vehicles troops and most other things with teh agility of a living creature. The shadowspawn is silent, swift, and very manueverable. With a heavy rifle, gattling gun, missile launcher, and a pair of twin sniper cannons, it is more than capable of being a multipurpose war machine. These vehicles have even been used to infiltrate and assassinate enemy leaders because of the shadowspawn's amazing movement skills. The shadowspawn is piloted by a human, as only a living being can allow a vehicle to move so well. The shadowspawn does have a weakness, the head of the pilot is revealed, no windshield or anything, even though it can be shot by troops, are your soldiers willing to run up to this monstrosity and shoot at the pilot? Snipers would be a better choice. Even though the pilot is vulnerable, he has much better vision than if he was holed up in a compartment deep within the robot, besides, he can always quickly escape if the mech is about to explode.
