Steve McQueen, I salute thee
They say this cat Steve is a bad mother - Shut your mouth! - I'm talkin' 'bout Steve, baby.
About this creation
Four reasons why Steve McQueen is God.

Reason #1: The Great Escape.

Run, James Coburn, run like the wind!
- - - - -

Reason #2: The Getaway
- - - - -

Reason #3: The Magnificent Seven
- - - - -

Reason #4: Bullitt
- - - - -

Bonus: While tidying up, I gathered a few artifacts leftover from previous projects and dumped on my shelf for the time being: a piano and two sofas from Pepper's Ghost, "The Getaway" Steve, and the remains of Mr. Krabs, whose pale blue shirt I needed for "The Magnificent Seven" Steve.

The result was a surreal, Lynchian diorama, recreated here.

Oh, God almighty, Steve McQueen killed Mr. Krabs!

Double bonus: an alternate ending to Return of the Jedi.

This is hilarious! Maybe you should do a whole "tough guys of cinema" series, or at least more Lynchian tableaux. I thought the movie scenes were great, but for some reason the surreal image struck me the most. I do love "The Great Escape" scene; the little feet disappearing into the dirt are the perfect detail!

All the brain-dead Halo-playing punks on this site just asked themselves, "Who's Steve McQueen?" Heck, he was before my time too, but I transferred to the Old School long ago. And where's Charles Bronson? Wasn't he in both The Mag 7 and Great Escape too?
