Every time I look at these photos I want to weep... because I was foolish enough to sell her. This is Mara Jade's ship, the Jade Sabre. For a lego design I think its pretty accurate , albeit a bit too bulky. I wish I had more pictures to show you the interior, but I don't. Take my word for it that it had a huge cockpit that could fit 6 people and had sliding doors that went into a long hall. Also, on the first level of the ship was a lightsaber room just like according to the book. And lastly, in the rear was a huge docking bay that could actually hold Luke or Mara's X-wing. I really miss this ship and plan to build version 2 in the next coming weeks that will be slightly smaller, better detailed, and serve as a troop transport. In case you were wondering, I sold it for $200. Enjoy!
Note: Alfred Wong on Starship Modeler deserves a lot of credit because I based my entire lego design after his model and his is the only one I can find on the net. So thanks Alfred!
If by plans you mean do I intend to make another... well the answer is yes, but not for Star Trek, nor for Star Wars, I will keep it a secret until I can reveal it this December. Thanks for your interest.
What a great build ! I didn't know this ship (I'm very "old school" for Star Wars) but anyway it's a beautiful MOC. I love the front, the wings, the angled sides... Very good ! I hope you're working on something new :-)
Once again, an excellent MOC by Kyle. This is an example if how big and detailed a ship can be.
OFF-POINT: When ever are you getting on yahoo?
I really need tips on building cockpits, can you help?
Wow, one of the most deserving MOC of the day creations I have seen in forever. I love old school castle. This, sir, has brought back dreams of yesterday back in the 80s/90s when lego castle ruled. Thank you!
