The Nephilim is the medical evacuation craft for any troops or pilots from the Gothica who may be wounded. Some may say the need to open the doors to dock with the main vessel is dangerous, but once your LEGO legs have been blown off the slight risk of falling seems small compared to not getting into the Gothica medical bay.
