About this creation
I've played with Lego for YEARS...and just now did I find out how other people did this. I wonder who came up with this idea...

I hope it's easy to follow what I'm saying, tell me if its bad explaining.

I only just figured out you could do that. It's useful for so many different effects. I can't believe some designer at LEGO purposefully made them like that and didn't bother to tell us!

All these years of playing with Legos and now I know why the fire pieces are the way they are! This was great, probably one of the most useful things I've learned from MOC Pages, thanks for posting!
  February 21, 2009
I always wondered why Lego didn't make the flame piece so that all the other notches could fit the pegs as well, you know? Never thought this technique was particularly hard to figure out myself, but evidently you've helped a lot of people here. Dissemination of knowledge is a Good Thing.

Really, something so many people know how to do and something that lego designed to be that way. I'm sorry, but knowledge like this is not worthy of moc of day, no matter how useful/useless it is. I've already seen flame elements used this way.
