Just mucking around with bley. Tried to give these
buildings a drab, oppresive look with minimal studs.
A good building exercise. Practising like this can
often generate other ideas. You may notice some old
grey pieces amidst the light bley.

Well, it's New Years Eve here in Melbourne
and it's 41 degrees celcius! Just wanted to say a
huge thank you to both the MOCpages team for providing
and maintaining a great website and to all the other
builders for your kind praise, suggestions and inspiration.
It's roughly a year since my Dark Ages ended and
I've had an absolute blast! I don't know how I got by
without Lego all these years!

And so, as it's compulsory here in Australia to
call EVERYONE by a nickname, I've come up with a few for yas.
Hope you get a laugh or two outta them.
(Sorry if I missed anyone; it was tough to do you all!)

Edit: there, there General Robertson *pats shoulder* Dry those tears.
How about "General Biz-Marc"? or "Marc the Monarch"? or "Marco!............Polo!" :)

O.K., if "Outer Rim Empire" is playing Rimmer, who is Lister, Kryten... Cat. I'll Give you a minute on this one. Later ~ Phipy (Yeh, I got your e-mail, can you tell?)

wow, great miniscale. You should put it all together in a "moonscape" MOC. Ayway, thanks for mentioning me as "the webslinger" I like the name, it's got a nice ring to it. Austrailia sounds like an interesting place. My parents went for the olympics, but I've never been.

It's ok, I feel better now. I would prefer Biz-Marc! Anyway, thanks!!

excellent buildings, but my nickname is BYRD! although yours is just based off of my name alone, and was pretty funny..

When I read 41 celsius, I was shocked until I remembered that it's summertime over there. We got buried in a whole bunch of snow yesterday. Just for the record, I don't like George W. Bush, but I won't discuss my political views here. Nice buildings, by the way.

I think magnificent would better describe your prowess with bley but thanks for the nickname! Somebody's gotta give you one now... 'Oceanographer'... that's the best I got so somebody else better step up to the challenge. Really nice microscale, now what are you gonna do with those generated ideas?! Happy New Year!

Luggy, his highness... I could get used to that. Experimentation often leads to ideas for me as well. Happy New Year! I still have 14 hours to go.

Ha! great nicknames. I enjoyed luggy his highness and goldmember. I got a kick when I was mine was rimmer hehe, great idea for nicknames. I like all of your micro buildings and I agree, building small does in fact help to generate ideas, I do it often! Happy New Year!

omg... laughing out loud so hard right now, I mean "young talent" rofl! So many of those are pure gold, I don't know if it actually helps being Australian but man that's funny... I got off quite easy! Now I have to go back & actually look at the creation... ;)

I am pretty much in a frothing rage right now -- you need to arrange these on some sort of base and make a cool futuristic city! I cannot stress this enough. I mean, the first pic is almost there -- what were you thinking? And apparently you've already dismantled them?! ARRRGGGHH! You've been out in the sun too long and fried your brains. It's not like I need a crazy caption for each building and a street named after me, but c'mon... throw me a bone here! Futuristic micro city... futuristic micro city... FUTURISTIC MICRO CITY!

Fun stuff, bley has never looked so white, and it's fun to read those nicknames. -The Nanny
