Story
The EG-206 is the next generation of star fighters. The EG-206 is equipped with a Class One hyperdrive and 4 sublight engines, 1 per wing, for maneuvering during combat. It's 4 lasers cannons are mounted on the extreme edges of each of the wings, and can be fired in unison, in sequence or in pairs. The cockpit has a unique gyro-stabalizing system that allows the cockpit to remain stable white the ship rotates around it. On board computer systems can store up to 20 sets of jump coordinates. Although rare in a ship this size is an escape pod, which is really just the cockpit module detached from the rest of the ship.
Design Notes
I borrowed the idea of using a duplo egg as a cockpit from Jon Palmer's G-Wing. A neat side effect of the wings being attached with technic pins is that the whole ship breaks down easily for transport, to and from shows.
