Seeing as those lazy Danish yokels over in Legoland
couldn't be bothered providing any alts for the
Mars Mission Claw Tank, I thought I'd pick up the slack.
(Just a quick note on the CT; in my opinion the only
Mars Mission set with any street cred. I mean c'mon,
it does look COOL right?)

Anyway, alternate #1 is a Mars Pick Up truck.
Get it?; it actually picks things up? Sorry. The base
can swivel on the chassis. I also modified the
Martian jet. Whoopee.

Alternate #2 is a Crystal Processing plant. I wanted to
try to make something with the treads other than a vehicle.
Here we can see the raw crystal proceed along the conveyor belt,
passing thru different machinery until the finished weapon disc
drops into the launcher, ready to fire!

Useless backstory: So the concept behind it goes something like this:
Us human explorers find and steal the crystals from the
indigenous Martians. Understanderably upset, the
Martians attack us, and we fight back, using weapons
made from the crystals. And so the vicious circle is complete.
Another under-acheivement from mankind!

Also with alternate #2 there is a Martian radar station,
to give warning of any of those evil humans approaching
with their plundering dropships!

Photo quality isn't too crash hot with these pics. Sorry in advance.
Optometry consultations on the house!

Ignore the git Mr. Phipson below me, this is a great alt. Some people don't seem to have ever tried to build an alt before, have they?

You call these alternates? I've seen more imaginative builds from a 14 year old master chief! (speaking of which... where is Mr. 313? he should be dropping some smack on your sites. He is a much better builder than you by the way.) Later ~ Chris

hmm good job! the crystal processing idea is very unique! i thought you would have another truck or something. oh and the first saucer thingy is very good considering your limited peices. try making something with a black and white paint scheme, it actually can look really good!
