The Fell Sting
Bounty hunter space/atmospheric assault helicopter
About this creation
COMPLETED--01/06/2008

It was my purpose to continue making MOCs for my unnamed bounty hunter since I finished the Fell Swoop so here is his second fighter. The Fell Sting is used mainly planet-side. The bounty hunter keeps it at his base on one of the more highly populated planets... lots of crime there so the Fell Sting gets a lot of use.

Armament consists of five air to anything missiles, an EMP cannon for disabling instead of killing (if they survive the crash), and two high powered cannons.

The Fell Sting truly shines in terms of maneuverability, speed and stealth.

I wanted to keep the engine look consistent with The Fell Swoop and believe I was successful.

The cockpit is what it should be and behind the seat is a spot for the bounty hunter's power expansion canisters and super beam cannon. I had to take the canopy off for picture taking but it does open enough for the bounty hunter to get in and out when it's on.

Here is the bounty hunter equipped with those things. He is a force to be reckoned with even on foot.

On the bottom is a storage space suitable for anything from cargo to prisoners. Prisoners will die though if high altitude or space flight is attempted. The storage space isn't sealed.

Here are my unnamed bounty hunter's ships so far-- The Fell Sting and The Fell Swoop. His trusty robot is there of course and it is hoped that it too will be getting a ship of its own... possibly loaded with prison cells.

Got to agree totally with Hubbsie below. One FINE looking chopper. "Air to anything missiles" LOL

This couldn't be better. It's hard to pull off a futuristic helicopter, and you've done it well -- the sleek silhouette and the stubby rotor blades work very well together. The shaping is great and you definitely used the right canopy. This may be my favorite creation of yours.
