Michael's Modular Lego House: The Urban Prairie Home

The Urban Prairie is a modular Lego home made up of four separate sections. The four parts are the first and second level, the upstairs bedroom, bedroom roof and living room roof with chimney. The finished house stands just under fourteen inches high. The rooms are fully furnished and all three rooms are connected by a central stairway. A special window in the bedroom provides a great view into the sunlit living area below. The second level rests on a white square pillar while the entire structure seems to float above the foundation. The chimney and skylight are just two of this homes dynamic features. The chimney is built in two sections: the half connected to the first floor and the other half connected to the bedroom's roof section. The skylight fills all the living spaces with natural light.

This is a really great model, I love all the tiles, and the furniture design is great. It is a great modern design, which for the most part, has not been brought into LEGO designs that I have seen. Great job! :)
