About this creation
Terran Cruisers, well known for their various civilian models have now begun to explore some military models as well. Intiatial Prototypes have been based off the reliable TC-205 platform.
Phase 1
The TC-500 was the first of flight ready test units. The similarities to the 205 platform are readily apparent at this stage. The main changes included a shortening of the intake passage, a sleeking of the rear quarters, a new laser-resistant canopy, and the armament. (Exact specifications on the guns are still classified.) Handling within atomosphere was described by test pilots as "shoddy" at best.
Phase 2
Soon after testing of the TC-500 came the 502. Minor tweaking with engine specifications and color scheme. Handling was still at "civilian" specs at this stage.
Phase 3
After a few more months of development work the TC-510 was ready for combat testing. With more space between the thrusters and stabalizing wings for atomspheric handling, the 510 was preforming admirably in combat simulated testing. Abiet, more revision are likely to come before the 500 series is ready for mass production.
