About this creation
How to fit a visor to a Clone trooper helmet

Many people have asked 'how do you' fit the visors on the Clone Trooper helmets?
So here is a visual instruction in this customising.
This is the visor I use.

First you need a helmet and a visor (the one with the little aerial), files, pincers and snipers.

Cut off the aerial.

File off the excess plastic.

Then start on the helmet. File off the nodules on each side of the helmet. You need to get down to the helmet, but be careful not to scratch the helmet.

It should look like this.

Then make sure the visor will fit and check where you need to make the holes for the visor nodules. The holes should be on the line on the helmet and close to the eye slot.

Heat a pin head. I use this to make the hole, a drill bit can slip on the hard plastic.

Push the hot pin head into the plastic where you want the hole. File off the excess plastic that is pushed out.

The visor should just clip into place!

Quoting Jessica Morris What is an "aerial"? I'm really wanting to do this project, but I don't know what that is.
Hi the aerial is the piece of plastic sticking out at a right angle to the visor. Hope that helps.

Quoting Jin Kwon Thanks! Awesome clones, especially the blue one. And where you file off the nodules where should you but the holes? Should you but it in the middle of the nodules?
'The holes should be on the line on the helmet and close to the eye slot'. The hole should be to the front of the filed area.

this is very inventive yet simple. if you cut the bottom of the visor off of the orange one, the pat that is over his eyes, than you could maake a sweet commander cody
