This is the Jumeirah Essex House hotel in New York City.
About this creation
This is the Jumeirah Essex House model I created for the hotel owners. I was interviewed by Al Roker on the Today Show about it in December of 2007 in NYC. Go to THIS LINK to see the interview on my website.
You can see the press on their website, HERE as well.
The model was on display in the lobby of the actual hotel in New York City in 2008.

The great thing about boxy buildings is that you can make a flawlessly realistic recreation of it. I applaude you for the time and effort that went into this! Its a travesty more people don't find their way here, I'll add you to my homepage.
MOC's of this size are tremendous undertakings, and so first and foremost...congratulations on it's completion! It turned out beautifully. While I'm not a huge fan of buildings, I'm a fan of any creation done with care and skill. I should mention I particularly like the sign, but a great job all around!
