Haha, that is BRILLIANT! You should really have made a LEGO flower to bend the whip out into though, like a butterfly/moth does its proboscis. Great job anyway though. I love insects, and your choice of parts is perfect.

This is one of the great things about lego, millions of ideas can spring from literally just looking at a single element! As for the model, its excellant, i would only say more detail on the wings to make it 5.
