About four years ago I made my first halo creation, it was a halo pelican based off of Legohaulic's. As well as being one of my first creations, I consider it to be one of my best, as it has changed little in the 4 long years of its existence.
As I said, not much has changed...its still gray, its still bulky and big and it still has some random yellow and blue bricks on it...as well as some MEGABLOKS!!! O noes!
This time around I decided to experiment with some photo editing techniques. I asked my friend Tim (Tim Ltd) for some help with photoshop. He did the edits with the grayish backgrounds and I did the ones with the white. Thanks Tim! ;)
I hope you like how they turned out. It was the best way to create a "flying" pelican.
As you may have noticed, I did add a few things seen in halo 3...like the doors that open in two parts...that was cool to build.
Here is a nice shot of a few marines jocundly lallygagging towards safety.
Definitely well-built, but it seems not only small but kind of out of proportion. The body is pretty big in comparison to the wings and tail. It actually gives it kind of a cartoony look, like a baby Pelican or something. In fact, that actually lends it a certain strange appeal... heh. I rather like it.
