The grunts of Starcraft.
About this creation
After many late-night efforts, I have finally completed my rendition of the Terran Marine from Starcraft. I am personally very pleased with the results of my hard work, and I'm happy that I didn't go out and just "borrow" someone else's design like with some of my other MOCs. This is approximately version 5 of my marine, and it took many tries to work it up into this finalized version. Unfortunately, I do not own or have played Starcraft, but I hope that will change soon. Enjoy!
UPDATED NOTE: I'm sorry, but I do not plan on making instructions for this MOC anytime soon. My apologies if this presents any major inconveniences to any of you.
The arm design is strong enough to support the gauss rifle with one hand. It took me forever to stumble upon this simple arm design that would work and be scale with the marine. Ultimately, I'm very happy that the arms are the way they are.
These are some of my first pictures taken with natural sunlight.
I'm not 100% sure the back is accurate, but there was only so few reference pics on Google, so I did what I thought was right.
Holding the gauss with two hands. As far as I know, the rifle design is my own.
I chose the face that best reflected the rough attitude of the marines. I think it fits.
It took me forever to get the legs down just right. And I'm very pleased that they can move in such a long stride. The piece that joins the hip and the legs is the only piece that was modified in order to make the marine (it was already modified when I found it, so I was like, "Why not? I'm getting sleepy anyways...").

Thanks!!!!! 2 more questions please. how do you connect the stick with the legs to the torso? and how did you cut it. Thank you so much! =D
I cut mine with scissors.
For the legs-to-torso: take 2 of these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4070 and 1 of this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2555 I think that should be self-explanatory. Just play around with the pieces, it shouldn't take long to get it. |

May you please tell me what piece joins the legs and the hip, i know you dont wanna give instructtions, but i just need that piece. Please would you be so kind and tell me, for God be with you!
I took one of these: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30374 and cut it in half. The half-piece is what joins the legs and hip. If you want to be purist, you can take this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=75c19 and cut it to the desired length and it should work fine too. Hope that helps! |

Can't fit the arms in.
It takes quite a bit of blood, sweat, and other miscellaneous effort to get those bad boys in the helmets. But if you work enough and try to squirm them in, I think they go in eventually. My only problem though with this is trying to get them back out again... 0.0 |

wow, helmets for shoulders is a great idea. if I had to say one thing to change it would be the legs (they're all blocky and fat looking). |
