Taliarn Antlion (plus Diorama!)
This bizzare creature is a rapidly evolved Tayko creature that has quickly adapted to cope with the pressence of the Plagors. most closely related to the Strager sand snails these quick little dessert critters currently wreak havoc on the desserts of Tayko. Since mainly the Plagors occupy these regions they bear the bulk of this oppressive new species. the Antlion is cool, but the Dio is really awesome as well!
About this creation
Inspired by Azvickson Serph's Strayger Sand Snail, this creature is a dessert scavenger, but also quite a capable fighter. frequently plaguing Plagor dessert outposts.

Spindly claws and quick legs make this a really fast critter!

The yellow portions of the claws and teeth are all highly venomous, and quickly kill anything that is not shredded by the massive claws first.

What a pretty little critter, but i think he should brush his teeth...

Time for a Dioramma don't you think?

A simple little Plagor outpost, lead by two vrugetts.

Some Plagor dessert infantry keep watch on the border of the outpost.

The 2 vrugetts atop the outpost.

Another dead rotger, oh well...

Whats this? A Plagor scout comes running toward the outpost at blinding speed!

Out of breath, the scout quickly draws a large crowd of troops.

Suddenly, a shrill cry breaks out! An Antlion has found the outpost!

In the blink of an eye the Antlion is already upon the troops, having impaled one of the plagor dessert infantry before a single shot was fired.

As the troops finally open fire the Antlion lets out another shrill cry. The puny small arms fire only makes the Antlion more enraged!

A few more Plagor troops are quickly tossed aside as if they were ants.

Frozen by fear the scout stands in front of the foe he tried to warn the base about.

The scout becomes this Antlion's first meal in days.

One of the vrugetts makes a quick decision that may save the base. Firing off his rocket laucher at the Antlion!

little remains after the blast

The antlion lies in thinly thrown out peices, but some rotgers couldn't make it inside the base before the rocket's explosion.

Attracted by the sound of the explosion, and the smell of his fallen friend, another Antlion quickly approaches the outpost!

The vrugett reloads his rocket launcher, as the Antlion claws at the outpost's high walls.
Reloaded, and the next rocket goes off!

The second Antlion was not as cleanly shot, and the head still writhes on the dessert floor.

Just another day in the dessert, hopefully some reinforcements come soon!
