Here's a little something I've been working on... a Mini Cooper S. They're still works in progress, but they're getting there. The main problem so far has been my lack of the parts I want and the limited colors available from Lego of some of these parts. It's forcing me to find alternative designs for different colors, but that adds to the challenge of such a small, simple project. Maybe later I'll try one in a much larger scale. We'll see.
Not sure why the picture isn't showing, but here's a link - http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ACS330Ci/Mini/img_7855_copy.jpg
OK, it started out I was just going to try and build a small Lego version of my '05 Mini Cooper S. The problem is I couldn't find all the parts I wanted to use in blue. So while I was searching and ordering parts from all over the world I started building Minis with whatever color parts I could find. Here are some of the versions I came up with.

the headlights are great as they are. These MOCs already have over exaggerated 'bulldog stances', so why not have bulging eyes. Very cool. Those wheels must be from the little racer sets right?
Thanks. Making these was all about building something fun and not necessarily going for accuracy. I plan on building a larger scale Mini in the future in which I plan to go more for true MCS representation. As far as the wheels, I build so many of these that I ended up buying a bunch of parts in bulk rather than get a bunch of different kits.
