This is the ancient tomb of Acolnahuacatl, which just happens to be where Laura is exploring. Wonder what she's looking for...
About this creation
(The Paragraph you are about to read is FACT in Aztec Mythology)
Acolnahuacatl is an Aztec God who reigned in Mictlan (or the underworld). He ruled with others as well, but once the Aztecs fell, so did their Gods and Acolnahuacatl choose this place to be his tomb. He also happened to be a god of traps and trickery, as well of wealth and gold. Will Laura find her treasure and be able to make it out?
The Back portion of the Tomb.
This pedestal once housed a statue of great importance.
The Grail or the Key?
Chose the key ey? Not a good idea...
And down she goes into a well placed Aztec trapdoor. Shoulda chose the Grail.
(There is another trap with a silver Grail and Key on the other side of the Tomb.)
Bridge connecting the Entrance Gateway with the Tomb Entrance. I tried to make it look mossy and overgrown, (which is why there is so much green there).
Spear trap just before the bridge... sneaky.
Main trap room with roof removed for easy veiw.
(Now you can see the other trap on the left.)
Axe traps after the bridge and slots for them to fall into the room below. Ouch.
Axe traps again but with roof removed to see what the interior looks like.
(Look at the fire in the back then look at it in the next picture below.)
Axe traps again... was that treasure there before?
(Revolving trap door... did the Aztecs make that too?)
Entire Tomb. (The front is on the right.)
Front of Tomb with large unecessary steps. Aztecs love 'em.
Laura in front of the steps with her unforgetable pistols.
Laura again but ontop of the large stair structure.
Overlooking the bridge...
(If you look at the top middle you can see where the spear trap is and where it lands ;).)
