How long does it take you to create one of these things? From design to completion? what is your process like? do you a design tool? Who much money are you usually spending per model and are you buying all your pieces from brinklink? I see you have a lot of specialized pieces, and those things can run like $0.25 a piece so clearly either you already had one of the largest collection of Legos ever or lots of money :)
But your construction skills are superb... you should consider a career as a Lego Master Builder. Or at least a Lego set designer.

i loved it just because it was absolutely amazing and i would have given it 4.5 stars if i could have and this is only because of some stuff that was different from the original just because it is legos and the eliptical piazza would be hard to recreate so that u made it a circle. Hope u can understand this.

I'd agree that the reds are too strong if you're trying to match color to the actual architecture (based upon what little I remember of it from my art history class), but it works for me in this model. I'm actually really diggin' the reds/dark reds combo. As usual the design and brick work are excellent. Nice job on the dome effect, too - the smaller they get, the tougher to achieve the effect well. Two thumbs way up, Arthur!!

Dude! It's red! Red is cool.

Very well executed model but I'm not too keen on the colour. Tan would have worked better but it's not that much of an issue. It's sculpted beautifully, especially Giacomo della Porta's dome.
